Buses between Stockholm and Vemdalen, with several stops along the way, run year-round. During the low season, the bus stops in Vemdalen village, while some trips during the high season go to Vemdalsskalet. In Vemdalen village, there is a waiting room in GT-gården that is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bus number 164 between Östersund and Funäsdalen, including Svenstavik, Åsarna, Klövsjö, Klövsjö ski area, Storhogna, Vemdalsskalet, Vemdalen village, Hede, and on to Funäsdalen and back.
Bus number 163 between Östersund and Rätan, which includes Svenstavik and Åsarna.
Bus number 631 between Sveg and Funäsdalen, which includes Vemhån, Björnrike, Vemdalen village, and Hede.
